"I realized I was going down the wrong path," said Lamonteria. "And I didn't want to end up like others." When she came to PACE, Lamonteria said she was shy and anti-social. "When I opened up, things started to become clearer," Lamonteria said. "PACE has helped me a lot, not only with my credits but with hope and faith. It showed me that anything is possible. It showed me that I'm somebody and that I can be loved."
In her introductory remarks, Jones said Southwick is someone who leads with her head and with her heart.
