Chef Angelo and Denise Elia recently hosted the 9th Annual A Taste of Italy helping to raise over $62,000 for PACE Center for Girls Broward. This sold out event at Casa D'Angelo Fort Lauderdale offered 125 guests an exceptional four course dinner and the opportunity to bid on premium auction items.

Between the first and second courses, Gordon Latz lead a fast paced auction of rare wines and specialty items including a private wine tasting by Ellman Family Vineyards and The Speckled Dog catering, and a "wine, women and shopping" party at the Stuart Weitzman Aventura Mall store. In addition to the auction, Chef Angelo arranged for a five day stay, Atlantis Paradise Island vacation package complete with a dinner at his restaurant at the resort as a drawing prize.
"The Elias have a great heart for helping youth," said Mark Snead, Chair of PACE Broward Board of Directors. "Nine years ago they created an annual dinner for PACE Broward, and to date, their signature event has raised a total of $500,000 for the girls at PACE. Their generosity is outstanding."
In addition to the Elias, we are grateful to the sponsors, underwriters and event planning committee members for their contributions and making this event possible. Thank you all for believing in girls!
