PACE Center for Girls Broward was recently awarded $50,000 from the Broward Sheriff's Law Enforcement Trust Fund.  This generous donation for the "Girls' Special Needs Fund" will help provide therapy, medical services, bus passes, lunches and emergency supplies for the girls at PACE Broward.

Monies collected from criminal activities are held in the Law Enforcement Trust Fund and redirected to local organizations focused on crime prevention programs, especially those dealing with youth.

In presenting the grant award, Sheriff Lamberti commented: "Effective prevention programs are the best deterrents to crime. PACE Broward teaches girls how to make good choices at home and in the community.  It's a prevention program that works."
