• Girls served -- 163
• Average age -- 15.3 years old

Prior to coming to the PACE program...

• 53% reported using drugs and alcohol.
• 37% had run away.
• 76% were suspended or expelled within current or previous year.

After leaving the PACE program...

• 89% had no involvement with a crime one year after leaving the program.
• 97% improved their academic performance.
• 89% successfully transitioned to high school, college or a vocational program.

Source of Funding

• Approximately 75% of PACE Broward's funding comes from the Florida Department of Juvenile Justice and the School Board of Broward County.  Remaining financial support comes from individuals, businesses, community organizations and private and corporate foundations.
