PACE Center for Girls, Inc. provides girls and young women an opportunity for a better future through education, counseling, training and advocacy. As an employer, PACE also strives to offer its employees a benefit package that provides for their needs and the needs of their family.
As a full time employee of PACE Center for Girls, Inc., you are entitled to a generous benefit package, which begins the first of the month following 30 days of employment .*
Let us begin with insurance:
- PACE provides health insurance through Blue Cross of Florida with your choice of three Blue Options Plans. PACE provides dental insurance through FL Combined Life.
- PACE provides vision coverage through Vision Care. The employee premium is minimal; dependent coverage is available at a nominal cost to the employee through payroll deduction.
- PACE provides a paid $15,000 group life insurance policy at no cost to the employee with the option for additional term life insurance coverage through payroll deduction.
- PACE provides long term disability at no cost to the employee through Reliance Standard Life Insurance Company.
- PACE provides an EAP program at no cost to the employee that offers comprehensive services to make your life easier. This program is through Reliance Standard Life Insurance Company.
- PACE provides medical and dependent care Flexible Spending Accounts, which are reimbursement accounts, through payroll deduction.
- For your retirement needs, PACE Center for Girls offers a 403(b) plan, which is a tax deferred savings program. PACE matches 100% up to 3% of pay, which is done annually.
All insurance deductions are through a Section 125 Plan, which allows your premium payments to be pre-taxed; giving you an additional tax benefit.
PACE also provides generous paid time off:
- 12 holidays per year.
- 10 days vacation days upon initial eligibility; 12 days after one year and the accrual increases with years of service.
- 12 days sick days per year which can be used for yourself or an immediate family member. Two of your sick days can be used as personal days.
- Time off for jury and witness duty, time off to vote, bereavement leave as well as state and federal mandated leaves of absence, depending upon eligibility.
*As a Part-Time-30 employee you are entitled to a modified benefit package that is limited to medical coverage, prorated vacation and 403(b).
