
PACE Center for Girls of Lee County offers year round counseling and academic services for girls, ages 12-18, who are facing challenges such as foster care, domestic violence, abuse and neglect, death of a parent, substance abuse, and/or family history of incarceration. At the request of community leaders and elected officials, PACE Lee was established in 2007 and since opening its doors has served over 300 girls find success in school, generate a positive relationship with their families and peers, and become productive members of our community.

FORT MYERS, FL (November 12, 2009) – Over 300 guests attended the third annual Portraits of PACE Luncheon at Broadway Palm Dinner Theatre on Tuesday, November 3 benefiting the PACE Center for Girls of Lee County. The Center’s major fundraiser, co-chaired by Patricia Bell and Margaret Depew, raised $62,000 in donations and $59,000 in pledges to be collected the next five years.
The PACE Center for Girls of Lee County welcomes Melissa Simontis as Director of Development. Simontis will be responsible for planning and executing the Center’s fundraising initiatives, overseeing volunteers and promoting the mission of PACE throughout the community.
