On May 14, a team from B & I Contractors Inc. spent the day volunteering at PACE as part of United Way's Days of Caring. With their own equipment and muscles, the guys from B & I completed a number of improvements to the Center's exterior including pressure washing, installing drywall to repair the patio ceiling, landscaping and gardening. 

"The crew was here bright and early and ready to work," said Barb Stevens, volunteer coordinator for PACE, "They even tackled wasp nests in the backyard and lived to laugh about it!"

B & I has continued to strive in a tough economy and we wanted to contribute back to the community that has helped us grow and maintain that success," said Lee Hahn, operations manager for B & I.

Donations from Home Depot and Scrivner's Landscaping & Garden Center helped provided mulch and plants for the service day.
