PACE Girls complete the program PDF Print

OCALA, FL (1/20/10) – Three times a year PACE Marion staff reflect on the progress and accomplishments of the PACE girls who are ready to transition from the program.

It is always a bitter-sweet occasion as we say ‘until later.’ While we are sad to see our girls go, they know that the door is always open and we are always here to help whenever we can as PACE provides transitional support to girls for up to three years. Transition ceremonies are held in January, June and August of each year. As we say, “Once a PACE girl, always a PACE girl.”

PACE Center for Girls is a non-residential, gender-specific program for girls ages 12-18, who are experiencing difficulty or conflict in school and at home. PACE’s purpose is to intervene and prevent high school drop-outs, juvenile delinquency, teen pregnancy, drug and alcohol addiction and welfare dependency. PACE promotes and enables young women to complete their education, build self-esteem, and develop personal, social and family relationship skills.
