PACE Center for Girls of Marion County is located in Ocala.

Since opening our doors in 2001 we have served over 700 girls.

 2010-2011 Statistics

• 114 girls served
• 15.2 years old: average age
• 40% reported emotional abuse prior to coming to PACE
• 21% reported sexual abuse prior to coming to PACE
• 30% had run away prior to coming to PACE

2008-2009 Outcomes

·         100% increased their academic functioning

·         97% did not commit a crime 6 months after leaving PACE

·         94% did not commit a crime one year  after leaving PACE

·         100% of girls who stayed at PACE longer than 30 days either:

·          earned a high school diploma or GED OR

·          mainstreamed successfully back into a public school or appropriate educational setting
