- Be able to make at least a 6-month commitment
- Be at least 21 years old

- Discuss opportunities with staff
- Complete application
- Submit materials for background screening
- Coordinate schedule with staff

Opportunities:
- Receptionist - Maintain the front desk, greet girls and guests, answer phone calls, light filing, faxing, copying and some light computer work.
- Teachers’ Aides – Assist teachers in the classroom with tutoring, grading papers, filing, making copies, assisting with class assignments
- Tutors – One-on-one tutoring with students in math, science, English, history, reading and writing
- PACE lunch buddies – Assist with the daily coverage of the girls during lunch (this gives the staff a much needed break)
- Fundraisers – Assist the Executive Director with grant writing, obtaining donations and planning fundraisers
- Parental Involvement Assistants – Assist with planning parent peer group activities and writing the parent newsletter
- Community Coordinator – Assist the Executive Director with the agency newsletter, making pertinent contacts with the community and organizing tours of the center
- Special Events Organizer – Assist with the planning of various special events throughout the year (Multicultural Luncheon, Holiday Party, Awards Day, End of Year Picnic, Clothesline Project, Women’s History Month, Black History Month, Make A Difference Day, Field Days, etc)
- Volunteer Service Project Leader – Assist with arranging various volunteer projects in the community for the girls to complete
- Guest Speakers – Motivational, career/vocational fields, special interests, business information, internet etiquette, yoga, dance, music, etc…
- Volunteer Coordinator – Coordinate the volunteer program, arrange volunteers for specific jobs, assist the Executive Director with planning the yearly volunteer recognition event
- Testing Assistant – Help the Academic Manager with administering required academic assessments to the girls (pre/post testing of BASI, SRI, STAR Math, Choices and Spirited Girls!)
- Program Aide – Assist management team with phone calls, filing, creating student files, referrals, etc.
- Group Counselor – (For those individuals with credentials and experience in leading psycho-educational groups) Assist the social service team with 6-8 week groups with the girls in areas such as bereavement, anger management, communications, substance abuse, parenting skills, relationships, etc…
