Approximately 75% of the funds needed to help 100 or more g irls during a single year at the Pinellas PACE Center for Girls comes from government sources like the Pinellas Schools Board of Education and the Department of Juvenile Justice. However, that still leaves a "gap" of 25% that we must receive in contributions from our community in order to continue our mission. This year, the gap is $250,000 and is expected to be even larger next year as funding sources are reduced again. PLEASE HELP PACE AND THE GIRLS WE SERVE - MAKE A SECURE CONTRIBUTION TODAY BY CLICKING ON THE "DONATE" BUTTON ABOVE.

Can you help our girls attend the November 18th performance of "Tender Turmoil", the first in a series of "Cardboard Stories" plays presented at the Palladiuim Theatre in St. Petersburg? The tickets will be used as an incentive for our girls who are achieving their academic grades and behavior goals.
Sponsored by the Pinellas County Coalition for the Homeless, the "Cardboard Stories" are a series of stage plays focusing on the lives of four different homeless people, each with their own unique circumstances that led them into homelessness, and the mysterious character named “Hope” (Miss Florida 2009, Rachael Todd is cast for this role!) who connects them all. The setting is a bus shelter in downtown St. Petersburg, adjacent to Williams Park, a longtime haven for homeless people in South Pinellas County. Tickets are only $10 and can be purchased by going to this website: http://www.pinellashomeless.org/news-and-events/the-cardboard-stories.html 1. Click on the Cardboard Stories Link on the lower left hand corner of the html 2. Click on Tickets 3. Under tickets click on HERE 4. One third of the way down is an option for one ticket. 5. At the bottom of the page there is an option for additional information. 6. Then, you can give a specific name if possible and ask for the tickets to be held for PACE. |
