Pace Center for Girls in Lee County Celebrates Graduates
Pace Center for Girls in Lee County is celebrating four of its members who are graduating high school.
Pace Lee provides girls and young women an opportunity for a better future through education, counseling, training and advocacy. The organization held a ceremony for Pace girls who have defied the odds to overcome various personal and academic trials to graduate.
Members of the Class of 2024 are now ready to take on the world and achieve their dreams of higher education and future careers.
"It's rewarding, knowing that six months ago I wasn't going to graduate. I wasn't in any colleges and now I'm going to two different places at the same time and I can pursue my dreams," said Bella, a Pace Lee 2024 graduate.
Bella plans to continue her education while pursuing a career in welding. She will be attending FSW in the fall and Fort Myers Tech in the spring, where she will be pursuing her welding certificate.
